    MACUNGIE, Pa. (AP) – The union representing thousands of workers at Mack Truck plants in Pennsylvania and two other states has announced plans to go on strike this weekend.

    HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) – An internal review of Pennsylvania’s parole system spurred by five parolees getting charged in quick succession with homicide is, in theory, acknowledging a long-standing complaint of parole agents.

    NEW KENSINGTON (KDKA) — Humane agents are caring for more than a dozen cats that were rescued from a home in New Kensington.
    Police arrested a man after his mother was found deceased in a duct-taped shut room inside her home in August.
