    PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Enrollment is down at Pennsylvania’s 14 state-owned universities.This year, enrollment dropped by 2,500 students, for a fall semester total of 95,802.

    All five schools in Western Pennsylvania saw a drop from last fall, with IUP losing the most students overall.

    PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — More than 100,000 people were taken to hospitals in Pennsylvania last year for a mental health disorder.That’s according to new research by the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council.
    Researchers say that breaks down to about 312 hospital admissions per day.
    The study shows people ages 18 to 44 were most likely to be admitted for depression followed by schizophrenia.
