    PITTSBURGH (KDKDA) — The Fort Pitt Bridge will be under inspection this weekend.
    PennDOT announced Friday the inspection activities will be Saturday and Sunday from the upper deck of the Fort Pitt Bridge to northbound I-279 and Fort Duquesne Boulevard (Exit 70B and 70C) between 6 a.m. and noon.

    CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – The Cranberry Township Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspects wanted in a beer theft.

    YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) — Authorities say they removed 42 cats from an Ohio house, with many of the animals in poor shape.
    Neighbors say the cats belonged to a woman who used to live in the house in Youngstown in eastern Ohio. The Vindicator reports a bank took possession of the house earlier this month.

    (CNN) — For the new school year, South Dakota public schools will be required to display the national motto: “In God We Trust.”
    A bill signed by Gov. Kristi Noem mandates that the words be on display for students to see beginning in the 2019-2020 school year.

    FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A state prison remains on lockdown following multiple incidents at the facility, a local report states.
    SCI Greene has been on lockdown since Tuesday after two unrelated incidents involving multiple inmates took place, according to the Observer-Reporter.
    A prison spokesperson told the newspaper that there was an assault in one of the general population units, and two officers and an inmate sustained minor injuries.
    The incidents remain under investigation.
