  • Animal Cruelty Charges Filed After Dogs Left In Hot Pickup Truck

    PITTSBURGH (KDKA)–A Steelton man is accused of leaving three dogs inside a hot vehicle in Neshannock.
    Clark Kehley, Jr. has been charged with three counts of neglect of animals and three counts of cruelty to animals.
    At the time police answered the call in the Medical Arts parking lot on Wilmington Road the air temperature was 87 degrees.
    They say the 1998 Chevy pickup truck was in full sun with the windows open only a few inches.  The dogs had no water.

    PITTSBURGH (KDKA)–The victims of a fatal head-on collision on Rt. 28 in Armstrong County Wednesday morning have been identified.
    Police say Tyler Zeigler, 26, of Butler was traveling north on Rt. 28/66 in Mahoning Township when his pickup truck crossed the double yellow line, striking a southbound vehicle driven by Mark Kirkpatrick, 59, of Summerville.
    Zeigler was pronounced dead at the scene.  Kirkpatrick died at a local hospital.
