    (CNN) — Beth Chapman, the bail bondswoman who starred on the reality show “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” is in a medically induced coma, her husband Duane “Dog” Chapman has confirmed on Facebook.
    The Facebook post linked to a Hawaii News Now story saying that Chapman was admitted to the ICU at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu.

    CLAIRTON, Pa. (KDKA) – A black bear has been spotted roaming around Clairton.
    In a Facebook post, the Clairton Police Department says the bear was seen in the area of State Route 837 and Miller Road.

    (CNN) — President Donald Trump announced his intent to nominate Mark Esper to be secretary of defense on Friday, the White House said.

    PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A former Pittsburgh resident convicted of distributing child pornography has been federally sentenced to eight years in prison.
    United States Attorney Scott W. Brady announced that James Russell, 61, would also pay $8,600 in restitution to 13 child victims.
    The attorney’s office says that according to information presented in court, Russell distributed an image that depicted the sexual exploitation of a minor who was younger than 12.

    HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) – West Virginia health officials say the number of HIV cases in Cabell County has risen to 53.
    The Herald-Dispatch reports the total increased by four cases in the past four weeks and nine cases in the past nine weeks.
    The cluster has spread primarily among intravenous drug users.

    SLIPPERY ROCK (KDKA) – A Grove City man is dead after he was ejected from his vehicle during a crash.
    Police say that the driver was traveling east on State Route 108 near Branchton Road at a high speed.
    They say he lost control of his vehicle, which overturned.
    According to police, the vehicle flipped then came to a rest on its side.
    The driver was ejected during the crash. They say he was flown to Allegheny General Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
