    PITTSBURGH (KDKA)– Resident complaints of drug sales led plainclothes officers to find a familiar repeat-offender in Homewood.
    The 25-year-old Homewood resident, Darwin L. Parker Jr., was found in a Saturn Vue by officers at the intersection of Frankstown Avenue and N. Homewood Avenue.

    HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — The number of people killed on Pennsylvania’s roads rose in 2018, fueled by increases in the deaths of senior citizens and pedestrians.
    Figures released Thursday show there were 1,190 traffic deaths in the state last year. That’s up nearly 5% from the 1,137 deaths in 2017.
    There was a 34% increase in pedestrian deaths and fatal crashes involving senior citizens rose from 124 to 188. Alcohol-related fatal crashes rose from 293 to 331.

    ABERDEEN, Ohio (AP) – Police in Ohio say a car containing skeletal remains has been pulled from the Ohio River.
    Aberdeen police Chief David Benjamin says it isn’t clear whether the remains found Wednesday are human, but they will be analyzed. Authorities say the vehicle likely was in the river for years.
    A fisherman told police his depth finder made him suspect a vehicle was submerged in the area of a boat ramp in the village roughly 60 miles (97 kilometers) southeast of Cincinnati.
