  GREENSBURG (KDKA) — The Bean and Baguette restaurant was a dream come true for owner Eric Bevan and his wife, but a weekend fire turned that dream into a burnt-out nightmare.
  “It’s just tough that you put this much time, your heart into something, and just to see it gone in a blink of an eye, it’s very disappointing,” Bevan said.

  PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Almost 200 Pennsylvania residents were charged with welfare fraud in the first quarter of 2019.
  The Office of State Inspector General said Monday that they have filed welfare fraud charges against 178 individuals between Jan. 1 and March 31.
  The total restitution owed in these cases is more than $886,000.
  Of those 178 cases, 90 cases of fraudulently receiving public assistance were graded as third-degree felonies.

  SOUTHPOINTE (KDKA) — Firefighters in Washington County helped rescue ducklings from a sewer Monday.
  At least five ducklings had apparently fallen into a storm water sewer in Southpointe.

  Cecil Township Volunteer Fire Company #3 said two stations were called around 9:30 a.m. to help get the ducklings out.
  Firefighters removed five ducklings from the sewer and later located a sixth duckling.
