    BLOOMFIELD (KDKA) — Two people are in custody after a police chase and car crash in Bloomfield.
    It’s believed the chase started in the 4700 block of Liberty Avenue.
    Authorities tell KDKA a male suspect and a female suspect were wanted their alleged involvement in a robbery. Further details on the robbery have not been released.
    Police say the vehicle they were in was a rental that had been reported stolen.

    GREENSBURG (KDKA) — Police have one person in custody after shots were fired this afternoon at a tax office in Westmoreland County.
    South Greensburg Police were sent to the office of tax attorney Jeffrey Burzawa for a report of shots fired.

    PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The Cash 5 jackpot has reached a record high.
    The prize is now $2.4 million, surpassing the previous all-time high of $2 million. That record was set in 2017 and tied on Thursday.
    In 2017, three winning tickets shared the $2 million jackpot.
    The last time someone hit the Cash 5 jackpot was Feb. 22 when a winning ticket was sold in Beaver County. The jackpot was $500,000 at the time.

    PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A Mount Oliver man has been sentenced to more than 10 years in prison on federal bank robbery charges.
    The Department of Justice says 52-year-old David Payo entered the PNC Bank in Homestead on May 27, 2017. Payo approached a teller and said, “This is a robbery. Give me 50s, 100s, 20s and no dye packs.”

    PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A Wilkinsburg man has pleaded guilty to robbing three banks and a convenience store.
    The Department of Justice says 60-year-old Glenn Ford pleaded guilty to four counts Thursday.
    Ford confessed to robbing the Huntington Bank on Smithfield Street twice in September 2017, getting away with a total of $4,710. That same month he also robbed a Citizens Bank on East Carson Street, taking $2,950.
