    PITTSBURGH (AP) – Defense attorneys for a former librarian and a bookseller are asking for more details on the charges against their clients of stealing and trafficking rare books from the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.
    Authorities allege that 62-year-old Gregory Priore, a librarian overseeing the rare books room, stole prints, maps and rare books and handed them off to 55-year-old Caliban Book Shop co-owner John Schulman to resell them.

    ROSCOE, Pa. (KDKA) — The Diocese of Pittsburgh says four church buildings in southeast Washington County will close in March.
    The buildings being closed are Saint Joseph in Roscoe, Saint Michael the Archangel in Fredericktown, Saint Thomas Aquinas in California, and Saints Mary & Ann in Marianna.

    According to police, 67-year-old Ronald Simmons was last seen early Friday morning.

    WINDBER, Pa. (AP) – An Ohio man has been arraigned in the deaths of two western Pennsylvania men reported missing almost two years ago.
    Twenty-four-year-old Devon Wyrick of Columbus was extradited from Ohio last week and arraigned in the deaths of 19-year-old Damian Staniszewski and 32-year-old James Edward Smith.

    Allegheny County officials said around 7:30 p.m. that there was a water main break at Cooke Lane and Mt. Lebanon Boulevard. About 8 inches of water was reported to be on the roadway.

    NORTH BRADDOCK (KDKA) — Police say a man was shot multiple times in North Braddock on Friday afternoon.
    A 911 call was placed just before 5:20 p.m. reporting that a man had been shot by two people on Jones Avenue near Hawkins Avenue.
