    PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — One person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Allegheny River Boulevard near Highland Park on Saturday afternoon.
    It happened around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Allegheny River Boulevard and Washington Boulevard.

    DANVILLE, Pa. (AP) – A Pennsylvania woman who survived a bear mauling by punching the animal as it dragged her has been upgraded to fair condition after several surgeries.
    Geisinger Medical Center in Danville said Friday that Melinda LeBarron has been moved from intensive care to a medical-surgical unit.
    Her son has said the attack on Dec. 12 resulted in broken bones, cuts and bruises and that she suffered multiple bites.

    COSHOCTON, Ohio (KDKA) – An Amish man was fined more than $28,000 for poaching a 26-point buck in Coshocton County, Ohio, in November, according to the Coshocton Tribune.
    According to court records, 43-year-old Junior Troyer had shot an 8-point buck earlier in the day on Nov. 7. He then went back out hunting in the evening and shot the 26-pointer.

    PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh paramedics are getting a pay raise under a newly approved contract.
    The Tribune-Review reports paramedics will see a more than 17-percent pay increase, on average.Paramedics also begin working 12-hour shifts and their coverage areas will increase in an attempt to reduce overtime.
