    PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Bridgeville Police Department is getting into the holiday spirit again this year, posting a holiday themed video.Last year, the Bridgeville Police arrested Buddy the Elf after chasing him throughout the community.On Sunday, police teamed up with Buddy to take the Grinch into custody.
    In the end, the Grinch’s heart grew three sizes and he helps Santa pass out gifts.

    VENANGO COUNTY, Pa. (KDKA) – The Pennsylvania State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in a burglary investigation at the Van United Methodist Church in Cranberry Township.
    Police said the suspect stole a projector, a 50-inch television, a DVD player and a sound system this past Monday. They valued the stolen items at approximately $1,300 in total.

    PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Allegheny County Medical Examiner identified the man who died early Sunday morning after being shot in the Homewood-Brushton neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
    The victim was 23-year-old Shanon Williams of McKeesport, Pa.
    Pittsburgh Police officers responded to their gunshot detection system, ShotSpotter, near the intersection of North Lang Avenue and Felicia Way around 1:30 a.m.

    WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. (KDKA) – An elderly man was dragged out of a burning home in North Huntingdon on Sunday.
    The man was transported by ambulance from the scene before the fire department arrived to put out the blaze on Center Street.

    NORTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — A North Strabane Township Police K-9 with a “life-threatening” medical condition is showing signs of improvement.
    Police Chief Brian D. Hughes posted to the department’s Facebook page Friday night, saying that K-9 Drago experienced a spontaneous nosebleed about two weeks ago and underwent a medical procedure at a local animal hospital.
