    HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — It’s getting down to crunch time for Pennsylvania’s counties to decide which new voting machines to buy, and how, as Gov. Tom Wolf presses them to switch to machines that leave a paper trail as a safeguard against hacking.
    Wolf’s administration told county officials this week the Democratic governor wants the state to cover at least half the cost.

    According to officials, two people were taken to the hospital following the accident that was reported around 8 a.m.
    The accident occurred on the parkway east outbound, just before the Greenfield Bridge.Police have not released how the accident happened or how many vehicles were involved.

    SEWICKLEY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A passenger Amtrak train struck a vehicle Sunday morning in Sewickley Township.Authorities say that at approximately 6:53 a.m. a vehicle was struck by a passenger Amtrak train at the intersection of Sharner Road and Volk Road in Sewickley Township.

    CHERRY HILL TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A man who was doing some fall cleaning found an unexpected surprise.
    Pennsylvania State Police say that a man in Somerset County was cleaning his gutters and what he found was more than leaves and sticks.
    Authorities say in a release to KDKA-TV that the Penn Run man found a shotgun in his gutters on Nov. 25.State troopers did not say who the gun belonged to or where the shotgun came from, but are investigating the incident.
