    Local amusement parks opened their Halloween events this weekend, with Idlewild’s Hallowboo and Kennywood’s Phantom Fright Nights running until Oct. 28.

    PETERS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) — It will be a week Sunday since a shocking murder-suicide in a quiet Peter’s Township neighborhood.
    The bodies of 44-year-old Kelly Bryan and 48-year-old Craig Bryan were found by their children.The Washington County Coroner ruled Kelly Bryan was strangled, police say her husband then killed himself. On Friday night, a neighborhood decided to turn their mourning into a celebration for their beloved friend.

    DUQUESNE (KDKA) — Police are investigating a Friday night shooting in the Duquesne.
    According to emergency officials, the shooting was first reported around 10:10 p.m. in the 200 block of South Fifth Street.

    BROOKLINE (KDKA) — Two businesses were shut down Friday and three tenants are out in the street following a partial building collapse in Brookline.
    The building on Brookline Boulevard has been condemned and the city has ordered the building owners to shore up the unstable front wall before anyone can go back inside.
