    PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Last year, nearly 4,000 air travelers tried to take a firearm through a security checkpoint in their carry-on luggage.
    That is a 17 percent increase over 2016, and 84 percent of those weapons were loaded.

    MUDDY CREEK TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a dump truck at a Butler County travel center on Tuesday.
    It happened around 1 p.m. behind the Pilot Travel Center near the Route 422 and I-79 intersection.

    BELLEVUE (KDKA) — Police say an intoxicated man shoved a toddler in a stroller and ran away when confronted by officers in Bellevue.
    Bellvue Police say officers were sent to Lincoln Avenue on Sept. 20 for a report of an intoxicated man pushing a baby stroller.
    When they arrived at the scene, they found 21-year-old Richard Russell pushing a toddler in a stroller. Russell was accompanied by a female.
