    PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Two corrections officers were taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after being attacked by an inmate at the Allegheny County Jail.
    According to Deputy Warden Jason Beasom, the incident happened just after 4 p.m. as one of the guards was removing an inmate’s handcuffs.
    It reportedly happened in Pod 6E.
    The deputy warden says the inmate became aggressive and struck the officer in his eye.

    NORTH VERSAILLES (KDKA) — A 76-year-old woman was shaken up, but otherwise unhurt when her car ended up crashing down a hillside in North Versailles on Wednesday afternoon.
    The accident happened along Overhill Drive, around 4:30 p.m.
    Officials say she was backing out of her driveway when her Honda Civic careened down the steep incline, adjacent to her property, and came to a stop when it smacked into a tree.

    NORTH VERSAILLES (KDKA) — Emergency crews have retrieved a car that crashed over a hillside in North Versailles on Wednesday afternoon.
    The crash happened along Overhill Drive, around 4:30 p.m.There’s no word on injuries or what caused the crash.
    But crews could be seen using a tow truck and a series of ropes to pull the car back up the hill.

    SUGARCREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio (KDKA) – An Ohio teenager who has been missing for more than a year after witnessing his father’s fatal shooting has been found safe.
    According to the Springfield News-Sun, 15-year-old Jacob Caldwell had not been seen since Aug. 21, 2017.
