    SIDNEY, Ohio (AP) – A man who struck an Amish buggy from behind, killing a woman and injuring three of her family members, has been found guilty of aggravated vehicular homicide in Ohio.
    Court records show 43-year-old Steven Hunter pleaded no contest to charges Friday in western Ohio’s Shelby County.
    Shelby County Prosecutor Tim Sell told the Sidney Daily News that Hunter was drunk and high on marijuana when he drove his SUV into the buggy in April.

    NEW ORLEANS (AP) – A jaguar escaped from its habitat at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans and killed six animals.
    The male jaguar escaped around 7:20 a.m. Saturday and was captured and returned to its night house after being sedated by a vet team nearly an hour later, after it had mauled four alpacas, one emu and one fox.

    Homestead Borough Police say an unknown man stole $1,900 worth of cigarettes from the Giant Eagle on Waterfront Drive around 11:35 p.m. on July 4.
