    More than a year after reports of combusting hoverboards first made headlines, the controversial technology is now being blamed for a "devastating" chain of events that played out in Harrisburg on Friday. According to earlier reports, a charging hoverboard is believed to have started a blaze inside a Lexington Street row house shortly before 8 p.m. Before the night was over, three children would be left in critical condition and two other individuals would be treated for smoke inhalation.

    SQUIRREL HILL (KDKA) — Crews battled a house fire in Squirrel Hill on Saturday afternoon.
    The one-alarm fire started around 1 p.m. in the 5500-block of Hobart Street.
    According to Pittsburgh Fire Investigators, four people lived in the home, but only one person was in the house when the fire began. The owner of the home was out of the country.
    Crews were able to get the fire under control within an hour. No one was injured.
    The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

    STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (KDKA) — A McKees Rocks man who was on Allegheny County’s “Most Wanted” list was apprehended in Ohio on Saturday.
    Cody Shaw, 26, was found at a homeless shelter in Steubenville.
    Shaw was wanted for failing to appear at a preliminary hearing for an aggravated assault charge.

    HOMEWOOD (KDKA) — Officers responded to a report of shots fired in Homewood early Saturday morning.

    Police say when officers arrived on the scene, they found a male who had a wound to his hand.
