  The 10-month-old terrier mix was found in Bentleyville on Friday with a metal rod in his head. The University Veterinary Specialists (UVS) say the rod went through one eye, the other eye socket and all the way through his brain.

  STATE COLLEGE (KDKA) — A Penn State student died Saturday after reportedly sustaining injuries during an incident at a fraternity house.
  According to the Centre Daily Times, sophomore Timothy Piazza, of Lebanon, N.J., sustained injuries during an incident at the Beta Theta Pi fraternity house Friday night. A Penn State spokeswoman confirmed that Piazza had died Saturday afternoon.

  The robbery happened Saturday afternoon.
  Police say the young girl was approached by an unidentified man who stole $50 in cash and then took off. The girl was not hurt in the incident.

  MERCER COUNTY (KDKA) — A man is facing multiple charges for allegedly kidnapping and assaulting children in Mercer County.
  The incident happened Thursday on McEwen Road in Coolspring Township.
  Two children were victims in the incident.
  State police say 51-year-old Kyle Selden, of Mercer, hit and injured one child, who is under the age of 6.
  According to state police, Selden took two children “in an attempt to terrorize them or another.”
