  HALFMOON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — A young boy was reportedly shot in the face at a central Pennsylvania shooting range this weekend.
  The Centre Daily Times reports the 12-year-old was shot Saturday at the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s Scotia Range in Halfmoon Township.
  The child was taken to a hospital for treatment but no condition was provided.

  BEAVER FALLS (KDKA) — A second fatal overdose caused by Carfentanil, a drug meant to be used as an elephant tranquilizer, has been confirmed in Beaver County.
  According to the Beaver County Times, the coroner says the death occurred mid-December in the New Brighton area and was confirmed to be related to Carfentanil on Saturday.
  Carfentanil is so powerful, an amount as small as a grain of sand is enough to end a life.

  BEAVER FALLS (KDKA) — Authorities now say two people have been killed after overdosing on Carfentanil, a drug meant to be used as an elephant tranquilizer.The Beaver County coroner says the latest death occurred in mid-December in the New Brighton area and was confirmed to be related to Carfentanil on Saturday.

  NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) – Officials say a juvenile sea lion was so happy to be rescued after getting hooked by fishing gear off Southern California, it jumped into a Coast Guard boat.

  A statement posted by a fellow fire company on Facebook states that the Edenborn Volunteer Fire Company was broken into.

  JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) – A newborn girl stolen from a Florida hospital 18 years ago has been found alive – and overwhelmed – in South Carolina, where police accused the woman who raised her of kidnapping.

  Seventeen-year-old Donovan Baynes was killed in a car crash in Penn Hills on Saturday night. Baynes was a senior at Penn Hills High School and a member of the football team.

  BRADDOCK (KDKA) – A man is facing charges Sunday after his niece was found dead in a Braddock alley.
  Forty-eight-year-old Kalvin Stewart, of Rankin, has been accused of killing his niece, India Stewart, and leaving her body in abandoned garage in Braddock.
  Around 8:50 a.m. Saturday, police found India’s body near Yew Way and Maple Alley. The criminal complaint states she had suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the head.

  It happened in the 400-block of Rodi Road around 9:45 p.m.
  The Allegheny County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as 17-year-old Donovan Baynes, of Penn Hills. Baynes was pronounced dead just before 10:30 p.m. at Forbes Regional Hospital.

  HOMEWOOD (KDKA) — A shooting in Homewood left one man in critical condition early Sunday morning.
  It happened around 4:15 a.m. in the 800-block of Frankstown Avenue.
  According to police, officers were sent to the area for a ShotSpotter alert that seven rounds had been fired.
  At the scene, officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on the sidewalk.
