  BRACKENRIDGE (KDKA) — How Linda McGinnis, 63, died still remains a mystery.
  “This is such a tragedy for the whole family. Such a tragedy,” neighbor Lorraine Gross said.

  BRACKENRIDGE (KDKA) — Authorities in West Virginia have identified a person of interest in the death of a woman from Brackenridge.

  PISCAWAY, N.J. (AP) – Payton Banks had 20 points and Tony Carr had 15 points to lead Penn State past Rutgers 60-47 on Sunday in a New Year’s Day matinee.

  VANDERGRIFT (KDKA) — A building in Vandergrift collapsed Saturday evening.
  It happened at the Primo Event Hall on Franklin Avenue around 5:30 p.m.
  The building used to be the home of the local chapter of the Sons of Italy. The lower levels of the building were later renovated and used as an event hall. The upstairs was not renovated, and there was no activity there recently.

• Boy Charged In Fatal New Year’s Eve Shooting Of 15-Year-Old

  GREENCASTLE, Pa. (AP) – A 15-year-old boy in Pennsylvania has been charged with homicide after a New Year’s Eve shooting that killed another 15-year-old boy.
  State police say they were called to a home in Greencastle, Franklin County, shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday to investigate a shooting.
  Police say one of the boys showed the victim a handgun and pointed it at him. The gun went off and the victim was shot in the head.

  READING, Pa. (AP) – An alert citizen helped police capture a Pennsylvania homicide suspect who allegedly kidnapped his 8-month-old daughter and fled with her across the state.
  Reading police arrested 36-year-old Antonio Velazquez-Rupert on Saturday afternoon after a citizen spotted his SUV and called 911. Police say the citizen noticed the vehicle matched the description in an Amber Alert issued by state police.
