    PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A Pittsburgh man who was sentenced to life in prison as a juvenile was released after 40 years on Saturday.
    In January, the Supreme Court ruled that people who were sentenced to life in prison when they were juveniles must have a chance to be re-sentenced or offered parole hearings.

    REPUBLIC (KDKA) — Trucks from multiple fire companies joined the funeral procession for a junior firefighter who was fatally shot in Republic earlier this week.
    Sixteen-year-old Parker Hess died Sunday night at the Republic Volunteer Fire Department after a pistol was discharged, and a bullet struck him in the face.
