  BEAUFORT, S.C. (AP) – Investigators in South Carolina are looking into the cause of a fire that gutted the Beaufort County Black Chamber of Commerce building, which had been the target of vandals in the past.

  JUBA, South Sudan (AP) – Gunmen attacked a bus carrying players and officials of one of South Sudan’s top-flight soccer clubs, killing the driver and injuring six others.

  MERCER COUNTY (KDKA) — An elderly woman in Mercer lost more than $27,000 in a phone scam last week.
  According to state police, an actor called a 94-year-old woman in Mercer, claiming he was a police officer who had arrested her grandson for drug possession. He then asked her to send money to bail her grandson out of jail.
  The victim sent money to Michigan on three different occasions between Nov. 2 and Nov. 7. She sent a total of $27,650 to the scammer.

  DERRY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — Police arrested a man accused of raping a 15-year-old girl in Derry Township on Wednesday.
  According to the Tribune-Review, 20-year-old Richard Skylar Pfeil, of Indiana, Pa., was accused of raping the teenager at an apartment in the 300-block of Walnut Street in August.
  Police say deputies found Pfeil at the Holiday Acres apartment complex in Derry Township on Wednesday and took him into custody. He was sent to the county prison when he failed to post $50,000 bond.
