What No One Tells You About Medicare Coverage — Carol (Vol. 2)
The following is an excerpt from Phillip Moeller’s Get What’s Yours For Medicare: Maximize Your Coverage, Minimize Your Costs, out now on Simon & Schuster. This is the second of a three-part series on Medicare coverage.
The Medicare rules say that private Medicare Advantage insurance plans must cover at least the same things that Original Medicare (Parts A and B) covers. Many people naturally assume this means the two approaches to Medicare are the same.
    Big mistake.

Keep baby in parents' bedroom -- but in separate bed, pediatricians say
To further reduce the risk of sleep-related deaths in infants, children's health experts today issued updated safe sleeping guidelines that emphasize the importance of a baby sleeping in the same room - but not the same bed - as the mother. And in what might be a surprise to many new parents, the American Academy of Pediatrics is urging that babies sleep in their parents' bedrooms for at least the first six months, and, optimally, until the baby is 1 year old.
