    New York, NY (WPIX) — Two brothers found themselves working together to help deliver a baby at a Times Square hotel Friday afternoon.
    Police received a call shortly after 12:30 p.m. about a woman in labor at the Westin Hotel on West 43rd Street.
    Officers Yan Poon, Zhan Ren and Nicole Davis responded and found the 35-year-old woman in active labor inside her hotel room, according to police.

  • Shooting kills 5-year-old child in Little Rock

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Authorities in Little Rock are investigating the fatal shooting of a 5-year-old boy.
    Little Rock police spokesman Lt. Michael Ford says the shooting occurred about 8 p.m. Saturday at a residence in southwest Little Rock.
    Officers say the boy was critically injured when they arrived at the residence. Ford says the child was later pronounced dead at the scene.

    NORMAN, Okla. – An independent foundation is giving the University of Oklahoma $20 million in support of the university’s Reserve Officers’ Training Corps program.
    OU president James L. Gallolgly made the announcement Saturday, saying the gift, from Miriam and James Mulva of Green Bay, Wisconsin, through their foundation, Mulva Family Foundation, will be used to create a scholarship endowment and to renovate the historic OU Armory and fourth floor of Cate Center 4.

    OKLAHOMA CITY – Hundreds of Oklahoma National Guard soldiers are returning home after deploying to Afghanistan for almost one year.
    The Guard says 350 members of the 1st Squadron, 180th Cavalry Regiment will return to Oklahoma on Tuesday. The unit deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan, in late 2017.

    TULSA, Okla. – A woman has been charged with manslaughter following the June death of a bicyclist in Tulsa.
    On June 7, at around 2 a.m., a bicyclist was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle. The victim was later pronounced dead.
    Police say Latrica Baldwin was behind the wheel the morning of the crash.

    MIDWEST CITY, Okla. – Officials say one person is dead following a car accident in Midwest City.
    Emergency crews responded to the area near Tinker Diagonal and Sooner Road Sunday morning around 11 a.m.
    The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says two vehicles were involved in the crash, leaving one person dead and three others transported to the hospital.
    Drivers were encouraged to avoid the area.
