• Former cop with racist past gets new police job

    ACHILLE, Okla. - New controversy in the small town of Achille. There are concerns over the police department's latest hire.
    The chief hired former Colbert Police Chief Bart Alsbrook.
    Alsbrook resigned after he was connected to Neo-Nazi and racist websites.
    "The media and cameras have ruined that man's name enough," said Chief Christopher Watson.
    Watson refused to do an interview with News 4, saying, "No, Absolutely not."

  • City officials give tour of Scissortail Park construction site

    OKLAHOMA CITY - We're a little less than a year away from the completion of Scissortail Park in downtown Oklahoma City.
    The 70-acre $132 million MAPS 3 project is set to be complete next June but, on Friday, officials gave a rare tour of their progress.
    "Progress has been great on the park; very excited with where we are," said David Todd, MAPS program manager.

  • Fire crews on scene at a large fire in NW OKC

    OKLAHOMA CITY – Multiple fire crews are on scene at a large commercial fire in NW OKC.
    Authorities say a detached garage near NW 19th and MacArthur is fully engulfed and they are using a defensive attack on the fire.
    They have additional crews on scene to control embers, but the majority of the fire is knocked down.
    There is no other information at this time.

  • Man breaks both arms after riding electric scooter

    OKLAHOMA CITY – A metro man says he broke both of his arms after renting an electric scooter downtown.
    “Stopped my scooter completely and just went head over handlebars and my arms braced and it was just the blunt force,” said Jacob Davis.
    Davis says he rented the scooter from Lime and the wheel got caught in a water meter lid in the sidewalk.
    He then flipped.
    “I just hit it the right way or the wrong way and went right over the handlebars,” said Davis, who says he
