    Nick Cave‘s 2022 memoir Faith, Hope and Carnage, drawn from over 40 hours of interview with journalist Sean O’Hagan, is out in paperback in September, and in addition to the conversation he’ll have about it with O’Hagan in NYC this fall, he’s announced a book signing tour. The appearances surround his North American solo tour, and you can see all dates below.

Paul “Duck” Tucker, vocalist of New Orleans ska-punk band Joystick!, is the director and producer of the upcoming horror flick Amityvillenado, which was also made with Joystick! music video cinematographer Jeff Van Gerwen (producer, writer, cinematographer) and which stars Joystick! bassist Clay Aleman.     Pavement have paid tribute to Gary Young, their original drummer and recording engineer, who died earlier today at age 70:

    Gary Young, Pavement’s original drummer, has died
    Sad news. Gary Young, who was Pavement‘s original drummer, died today in Stockton, CA after years of ill health. He was 70. The news was confirmed by his wife, Geri Bernstein Young.
