    Florida’s Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is taking 2024 off, Okeechobee News reports.     Shabaka Hutchings‘ electronic-leaning trio The Comet Is Coming have been out on tour this summer before they “return to near earth orbit to allow Betamax, Danalogue and Shabaka to concentrate on other pathways of artistic exploration,” and they stopped in NYC on Wednesday night (8/2) to headline a free SummerStage show in Central Park. For Hutchings, it was a return to the venue after he’d played there last summer with Sons of Kemet as part of their last tour.
