  On Friday evening, BAM Cinematek kicks off a new weeklong film series, Si Se Puede!, featuring the work of Chicano and Chicana filmmakers like Luis Valdez (La Bamba), Gregory Nava (El Norte), and Lourdes Portillo (The Devil Never Sleeps).
