    Senior affordable housing development to open in the Bronx, rent starts at $454 per month
    In a push to expand affordable housing options for seniors and low-income residents in the Bronx, the City has launched a housing lottery for 46 units at Bedford Green House II, a new mixed-use affordable housing building at 2880 Jerome Ave. in Bedford Park.
    The 17-story building offers 116 total residences, with 46 designated as affordable units, 41 of which are reserved for seniors aged 62 and older. Of the affordable units, 16 are allocated to applicants earning 30% of the area median income
