  The Attala County Fire Department responded to a woods fire on Attala Road 1205 in the Williamsville community after a trash fire got out of control.
  The property owner was attempting to extinguish the flames when firefighters arrived. Crews quickly contained the blaze to less than a quarter of an acre. No injuries or property damage were reported.

  ETHEL, Miss.–A light pole was reported on fire Saturday morning in Ethel.
  The call caqme in at 6:25 a.m. anbd when firefighters arrived they discovered the pole at the intersection of Attala Rd. 5210 and King Rd. on fire from the ground to the top.
  But, the power line was not down.
  Entergy was called to help take care of the power issue.

  McADAMS, Miss.–A two-car wreck was reported Friday night in McAdams.
  Attala County deputies and Attala County firefighters were called out just before 7 p.m. to Hwy. 12 near McAdams High School for a two-car wreck, with one person possibly trapped inside one of the cars.
  When firefighters arrived they discovered one of the lanes blocked and that three cars were actually involved in the wreck.
