  The Attala County Fire Department received a call around 1:00 PM Thursday regarding a woods fire in the yard of a residence on Attala Rd. 5217 near Ethel.
  The flames covered roughly half an acre and was spreading into the woods.
  Reportedly, no structures were threatened by the blaze.

  The Attala County Fire Department received a call around 1:00 PM Thursday regarding a woods fire in the yard of a residence on Attala Rd. 5217 near Ethel.
  The fire was started unintentionally and covered roughly a quarter of an acre, spreading into the woods. Reportedly, no structures were threatened by the blaze.
  Later at about 2:30, the ACFD was called to a fire on Attala Rd. 5041. Upon arriving on scene, they found a flame spreading through a field and into the woods.
