  The Carthage Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman who has not been seen since early June.
  According to police, 40-year-old Sheena Henry was last seen on June 3, 2026, in Carthage. Henry is hearing impaired, and her family says they are very concerned for her safety.
  Anyone who has seen Sheena Henry or has information about her whereabouts is urged to contact the Carthage Police Department at 601-267-8011.

  A 6-year-old child was killed in a logging accident Wednesday afternoon in the Hesterville community of Attala County.
  The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. at a logging job site in the woods, where the child was reportedly hit by a log truck.
