    A family is searching for answers after an elderly couple was shot to death in their Florida home, PEOPLE reports.
    Major Melvin, 89, and Claudette Melvin, 87, a married couple of 60 years, were found fatally shot inside their home on March 22, according to Fort Lauderdale police.
    Police believe the suspect(s) fled the shooting in the Melvins’ car, a red 2014 Ford Fusion. Authorities are seeking the public’s help in searching for the vehicle as it remains missing.
