  Two San Francisco Sheriff’s Department clerks have been awarded more than $1 million over alleged racial discrimination in the department, per Face2Face Africa.
  Clerks Danielle Dillard and Kim Lee filed a lawsuit in 2020 against the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department, alleging that they were being targeted and subjected to racial harassment by white employees. In the suit, the women also accused the department of violating the Fair Employment and Housing Act.
