    Ex-NFL Player Sergio Brown Arrested on Murder Charge in Mother’s Death
    Former NFL player and Proviso East High School football star Sergio Brown was arrested Tuesday in Southern California to face first-degree murder charges in the death of his 73-year-old mother. 
    The San Diego Police Department, along with other local and federal authorities, took Brown into custody as he was re-entering the U.S. through San Diego from Mexico, according to authorities. 
    The agencies acted after a warrant was issued for the death of his mother, Myrtle Brown.

    A judge has recommended no punishment for the officers who tased, shot, and killed 32-year-old Kawaski Trawick in his kitchen, per News12.
    Trawick was killed in 2019 after he locked himself out of his apartment at a supportive housing facility in the Bronx. The 32-year-old called 911 and allegedly falsely reported that the building was on fire.
