  Nine Memphis corrections officers have been charged in connection to the death of Gershun Freeman, a 33-year-old Black man who was beaten in jail.

  A 23-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the mysterious June death of Mia Kanu, a Tennessee State University student who was found dead in the middle of a road.
  Kenita Monique Fearn was taken into custody earlier this week on charges of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death and operating while intoxicated, Fox News reports.
