  On Friday afternoon, an inmate suffered a medical emergency and confinement officers found the man, identified Monday as Jesse Lee Allen Jr., 52, unresponsive. According to the Allen County Sheriff's Department, medics attempted life-saving measures but were unsuccessful. Allen was pronounced dead a short time later.
