• Keystone Fire In Wyoming Crosses Containment Lines

    ALBANY, Wyo. (CBS4) – The Keystone Fire advanced grew to more than 2,400 acres Friday and marched past containment lines on its southern edge.
    “Between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. yesterday, the temperature rose 30 degrees and the relative humidity dropped 60%. This is a critical time in which the fire becomes active and crews need to be prepared for this dramatic change,” said Incident Metereologist Darren Clabo on a United States Forest Service online report.

    COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – Police have released surveillance video showing two men who allegedly robbed an auto body shop last week and killed a man.

    COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – A 30-year-old man is accused of throwing a toddler into traffic at a busy Colorado Springs intersection Friday night.
    According to a Colorado Springs Police Department report, motorists avoided the two-year-old boy and also apprehended Bryant Hickcox.
    Hickcox now faces several charges including attempted murder.
    Hickcox is the toddler’s cousin, according to CSPD.

    WARD, Colo. (AP) — A black bear believed to be the one that attacked a Colorado camp staffer didn’t show any signs of disease or injury that might have explained his aggression.

    However, soon after the June 2017 murder of resident Helena Hoffman, many in Fort Collins expressed their concern with the apparent growth of the homeless community, as well.

    STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – A barbecue grille left running is thought to be the cause of a deck fire which eventually consumed an entire home Friday afternoon.

    BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – John Pellouchoud says neither floods nor fire will force him out of Lefthand Canyon.
    The Boulder County resident has been living in the canyon for 30 years. On Thursday morning he was in California helping a friend whose home had flooded when his own home caught fire.

    DENVER (CBS4) – Two homicide suspects are off the streets thanks to police.
    Elizario Manuel Herrera Jr. was arrested Friday morning near Colfax Avenue and Federal Boulevard.
