    BASKING RIDGE, N.J. (CBS4) – A tree that is believed to be the oldest in the United States has died and is being removed.
    Crews began cutting down the 600-year-old white oak on Monday. The oldest tree in North America has been firmly rooted long before the town of Basking Ridge was built. The tree began showing signs of decay and was declared dead last year. The church decided it was time to bring the tree down before it fell on its own.

    DENVER (CBS4) – Property values are going up all over Colorado.
    Seven county assessors reported big increases on Tuesday.

    DENVER (CBS4) – A man has pleaded guilty to taking cellphone photos up a woman’s skirt.
    Jacob Magee, 33, pleaded guilty to invasion of privacy for sexual gratification. Police identified Magee as the man in a Metro Denver Crime Stoppers alert released in early November 2016.
    Magee admitted to using his cellphone to snap photos up a woman’s skirt during the Denver Broncos game on Oct. 30, 2016 against the San Diego Chargers.

    DENVER (AP) — A court has removed one obstacle to the federal government’s plan to release more endangered wolves in New Mexico over the state’s objections, but it wasn’t immediately clear whether or when additional releases would occur.

    DENVER (AP) — Post-traumatic stress sufferers may soon qualify for medical pot in Colorado.
    But the state plans to add significant new limits before patients get permission to use pot to treat PTSD.
    The state Senate on Tuesday approved a bill to make PTSD the 10th qualifying condition for medical pot. At least 15 other states already allow PTSD sufferers to use pot. The Senate agreed that minors need parents’ permission and other curbs before getting pot.
