    MORRISON, Colo. (CBS4) – Thousands of people woke up extra early Sunday morning to celebrate Easter in unique Colorado fashion.
    The 70th annual Easter Service at Red Rocks began with live music at 5:30 a.m. and continued through sunrise.

    Organizers said 11,000 people attended this year’s event with lines forming before the gates opened at 4:30 a.m.

    COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) – A day after Major League Soccer suspended Colorado goalkeeper Tim Howard for an altercation with a fan, the MLS Players Union questioned security at Sporting Kansas City’s stadium.

    1st Of 4 Accused Of Murdering College Student Pleads Guilty
    DURANGO, Colo. (CBS4) – The first of four Arizona men charged in the shooting death of a Fort Lewis College student has been sentenced to 17 years in prison.
    Daniel Wright pleaded guilty to burglary as part of plea agreement. Authorities say he and three others broke in to the home of Samuel Gordon in May of 2016 looking to steal marijuana.

    Dozens Of Livestock Killed When Barn Burns To Ground
    ELIZABETH, Colo. (CBS4) – More than 30 sheep and chickens perished in a barn fire here Saturday morning.
    It was the first of two separate fires located north of the Singing Hills Road.
