    SAN DIEGO (AP) — Authorities say the founder of CorePower Yoga died from injuries he suffered in drunken falls as he staggered from room to room in his San Diego mansion.

    New Proposal Would Make California Separate Country
    LOS ANGELES (AP) — Another attempt is underway to establish California as a separate nation.
    Election officials announced Thursday that a proposal has been submitted to the Secretary of State’s Office that would ask voters to repeal part of the state constitution that declares California an inseparable part of the United States.
    If the proposal qualifies for the ballot and is approved by voters, it could be a step to a future vote on whether California should break away from the U.S.

    WELD COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)– A local business was forced to tape off portions of its facility Thursday morning, after a train derailed nearby, causing several train cars to crash into the building.
    Larry Lande, spokesman for Northern Feed and Bean, told CBS4’s Dillon Thomas at least six of the 25 cars which derailed ended up crashing into his facility. Several large holes were left in the side of of the building, which is located north of Greeley on Highway 85.

    LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4)– Surveillance video captured from Chatfield Time Rentals and Sales in Littleton helped police catch a serial bank robber who allegedly wore a Darth Vader mask during some of his heists.
