    DENVER (CBS4) – It’s the time of year when bees start swarming along the Front Range.
    In Colorado bees will usually swarm from April through June. It happens when a hive gets too crowded. The old queen takes about half of the bees to find a new home.

    Swarms are normally docile but can be alarming because the number of bees.

    Matthew Haley, 29, turned himself in to authorities in Conejos County on Saturday. He’s accused of stabbing Jordan Gausman, 31, during an argument at the Silver Dollar Saloon on Monday.

    MORGAN COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – Tornadoes ripped through Colorado’s Eastern Plains Saturday afternoon and CBS4’s Melissa Garcia spoke with some people were affected by the twisters.
    Garcia visited a campground at Empire Reservoir in Morgan County where a tornado sent trailers flying. It was a spot where one of three tornadoes touched down.

    DENVER (AP) – A large storm that brought a series of tornadoes to eastern Colorado has dumped up to a foot of snow in Wyoming and is expected to continue to bring hail and rain to the Rocky Mountains and Eastern Plains through Monday.
    National Weather Service forecaster Timothy Trudel said Sunday a foot of snow has already fallen on mountain ranges about 40 miles west of Laramie.
