  DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – If you attend this year’s State Fair of Texas and ride the rides, there’s a good chance you’re putting your safety in the hands of Rusty Fitzgerald.
  The VP of Operations for the State Fair of Texas is in charge of making sure more than 75 rides are safe.

  DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – The jury in the aggravated assault trial of former Mesquite Police officer Derick Wiley was unable to reach a verdict and the case has ended in a mistrial.
  The jury deliberated all day Wednesday and most of the day Thursday before letting the judge know they could not reach a verdict.
