  FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – Police are searching for a suspect after they say a security guard at a Fort Worth Whataburger was shot in the arm.
  Officers responded to a shooting call at 955 North Beach Street just before 4 a.m. Sunday.
  Police believe a disturbance occurred at the Whataburger when a person pulled out a gun and shot a security guard in the arm.

• Shot Fired At Texas State University Dorm; No Injuries

  SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) — Police at Texas State University say one person is in custody after a gun was fired at a residence hall.
  Authorities say the bullet hit a window early Sunday at Angelina Hall on the campus in San Marcos, about 30 miles south of Austin.
  No one was hurt.
  Officials say the gun was fired from outside the building and the person in custody is not a student.
  Texas State has about 38,000 students.

• Mountain Lion Rarely Seen In North Texas Killed On Highway

  MINERAL WELLS, Texas (AP) — State wildlife officials are hoping a necropsy will help them figure out how a large mountain lion wound up in a North Texas county where it was struck and killed by a car.
  Texas Parks and Wildlife Department officials say it’s the first mountain lion spotted in Palo Pinto County in at least 15 years.
