    SEATTLE — NBA Hall of Famer Bill Russell has been released from a Seattle hospital after an overnight stay for an unknown condition.
    Russell confirmed on Twitter Saturday that he went to the hospital late Friday but does not say why.
    Russell says in the light-hearted message, “As my wife likes to remind me, I don’t drink enough.”
    He thanked fans for their concern and appeared to dismiss reports that the hospital visit was due to heart troubles.

    A teen patient at Connecticut Children's Medical Center thought she would have to miss prom but thanks to some fairy godparents, she was able to attend the big dance Friday.
    Toni Laites checked into CCMC earlier this week when her ulcerative colitis began acting up.

    EDMOND, Okla. – An Edmond Public Schools employee was arrested for allegedly being under the influence of meth while she was at work, according to KFOR.

    ORLANDO, Fla. — A man punched a pregnant, deaf woman and her service dog on a flight from Colorado Springs to Orlando shortly after the plane landed, police in Florida said Friday, according to KRDO.

  • Man arrested for 1987 murders of Canadian couple, killed during trip to Seattle

    EVERETT, Wash. – An arrest has been made in the murders of 20-year-old Jay Cook and 18-year-old Tanya Van Cuylenborg, more than 30 years after the bodies of the young couple were found in Washington state's Snohomish and Skagit counties.
