    Roena Cheryl Mills, 41, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of 29-year-old Bo Allen White.

    A 27-year-old Russian woman has died after doctors mistakenly filled her IV bag with a solution containing formaldehyde.
    Ekaterina Fedyaeva was said to be undergoing routine surgery at a hospital in Ulyanovsk, in the Volga Federal District of Russia, when the hospital provided her on a formalin drip, which contains formaldehyde and is used to prevent corpses from decomposing, FOX News reports.

    JACKSON, Ohio  — The military says the remains of a Navy seaman from Ohio who died in the 1941 attack at Pearl Harbor during World War II have been identified.
    The Defense Department says the remains of 25-year-old Navy Seaman 2nd Class Frank Wood, of Jackson, Ohio, will be buried Saturday with full military honors in Franklin, North Carolina.

    STAFFORD — All Stafford schools are in a ‘precautionary soft lockdown’ as of 10 a.m.
    Superintendent Steven Moccio couldn’t comment on the specifics on the reasons why the schools are in the lockdown, but he said that law enforcement is investigating.

    SHELTON -- Police have identified two people who were killed in a crash Sunday night.
    18-year-old Shalmymar Herrera of West Haven was pronounced dead, as well as 23-year-old Briana Torres-Carter from Bridgeport. Police say she was pregnant. They were both passengers in a Mini Cooper that was being operated by 19-year-old Lawrence Carter of Bridgeport.

    TORRINGTON — A Connecticut fire chief has proposed cutting funding for a volunteer department that recently showed up to a fire with no water in its truck.
