    Happy early St. Patrick's Day! We are hoping for some of the Luck of the Irish, but we may not get all the good luck.
    The Good:
    St. Patrick's Day and the rest of the weekend are looking good. While temps will be on the chilly side compared to seasonal averages, and it will be breezy for most of the day, there should be a lot of sunshine! Some clouds will mix in at times, but they are likely to be few and far between. By Monday, we wil even start to feel much warmer as temps will jump up a bit.

    WALLINGFORD -- “We all have kids,” said Wallingford resident Lee Ann Snedeker. “It could’ve been anyone of our children.”
    Snedeker said her daughter was at their Highland Avenue home Friday afternoon when she heard a loud crash.

  • 1 injured after wires fall on school bus in Morris

    MORRIS — A school bus was involved in an accident in Litchfield County Friday morning.
    Connecticut State Police said a car hit a pole in Morris, knocking down the pole and causing the wires to fall down on top of a school bus that was carrying less than a dozen students. Police said that fortunately no students were hurt.
    The driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
    The crash happened on Watertown Road at around 6:30 a.m. The power company is responding, to take care of the pole.

    DETROIT — Fiat Chrysler is recalling more than 300,000 older Ram pickup trucks worldwide because the fuel tanks can sag.
    The recall mainly affects trucks in cold-weather U.S. states and Canada where salt is used to clear snow from roads.
    It includes Ram 1500 pickups from the 2009 through 2012 model years. In the U.S. the trucks are in 20 states and Washington, D.C.
