    EAST HARTFORD -- The flu epidemic continues to affect many in the state. This week new flu numbers were released and this weekend—more flu shot clinics were held. There's been more than a dozen new deaths in Connecticut. In last week's report, 63 deaths were noted. This week the number increased to 77.That's an additional 14 deaths.

    NEW LONDON –One man went to the hospital Saturday evening following a stabbing.
    Around 5:36 p.m., police arrived to Crystal Avenue and found a man with a stab wound in his chest. Police secured the area and gave the man medical care.
    Police said the victim was brought to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for further medical treatment.
    Police canvassed the area and conduct interviews, while detectives processed the scene and collected evidence.

    HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ The CEO of Connecticut’s health insurance marketplace is stepping down this spring.
    Democratic Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman says Jim Wadleigh (WAHD-lee) will leave as head of Access Health CT in April. Wyman chairs Access Health CT’s board of directors.
