• State Lawmakers Mull Pot Legalization Once Again

    HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) – Some state lawmakers want to know how recreational marijuana might be regulated if Connecticut decides to someday legalize thedrug.

    BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) – A woman hired to clean a Connecticut home has pleaded guilty to stealing and pawning items worth about $13,000.
    Authorities say a Bristol homeowner confronted 51-year-old Laura Cournoyer in late 2016 about missing items.
    He initially decided not to press charges but contacted police months later when he noticed that valuable jewelry had gonemissing.

    WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WTIC Radio) – Southwest Airlines is launching daily non-stop service from Bradley International Airport to St. Louis this summer, the Connecticut Airport Authority announced Thursday.

    (Niantic, Conn./WTIC Radio) – State officials are looking into the birth of a child to a mother who is incarcerated at the York Correctional Institution for women.
    The state Department of Correction says the baby was born on Tuesday.
