    VERNON, Conn. (AP) — Connecticut police have arrested three people they say were involved in an armed robbery in a bowling alley parking lot, including one who eluded capture for several hours.

    HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Connecticut officials on Monday called for an investigation of the U.S. Department of the Interior’s failure to act on revenue sharing agreements between the state and two Native American tribes that are needed for the tribes to build and operate a new casino.

    LOCUST GROVE, Ga. —  Authorities in Georgia say the police officer killed in a shootout with a criminal suspect with Connecticut ties died of a gunshot wound to the head.

  • Man Charged In Fatal Farmington Crash

    (Farmington, Conn./WTIC) – Police in Farmington have arrested a man they say caused a deadly crash in town last year.
    Fifty-four-year-old Edward Brozynski of Newington is charged.
    Officers say he was intoxicated at the time of the crash on Route 6 last September 14 in which two people were killed. Two others were injured, one critically.
    Police say Brozynski faces charges of manslaugher with a motor vehicle, assault, reckless endangerment and other offenses.
    His bond was set at $275,000.

    FARMINGTON — Police have arrested a man in connection with a crash that killed two people last September.
    Edward Brozynski, 54, of Newington, was arrested on Friday. He was charged with two counts of second degree manslaughter. He was also charged with assault and other motor vehicle violations. He was held on $250,000 bond and will appear in court on Tuesday.
